well well well.. its been blardy long since i last wrote. wanted to write yesterday, but i forgot my username and password. this morning suddenly remembered so here i am.
nothing much to say though, 2 months of semester holiday now, found a job as a waiter, speaking of job
the working envinronment is quite screwed up, and the boss, well.. he's.. erm.. i'm not sure of how to describe him.
anyway, today's my 4th day on the job and i wonder how long i'll last. have you ever worked in a place where everyone smokes? if you have, good for you, if you havent, then its good experience in life.
seriously, everyone in my work place smokes! every time when there's few customers, you'll see a big group of them smoking behind the premise. From the boss to youngest staff (18 yo). Oh wait! got 1 girl in form 1 too.. she doesnt smoke. she takes over her mom sometimes at work.
Coming all the way from batu kawah to town area to work, what a hard life. i'm sure damn grateful my life has been very pleasant until now.
first day at work was also my interview day. i was suppose to go fill in forms and stuff. after everything was done, they told me i start working immediately. dahlah i wearing in appropriate clothes, they told me my job was order taker and runner. i dont even know the menu, how to recommend to people. ish. then then the worst thing was when we were setting out the outdoor area, the boss suddenly asked us to gather around. gave all of us a piece of paper and asked us to read it out..
"*** **** ****, We are the Best!" -_-" !!! SO PRIMARY SCHOOL!! to stay out of trouble, i'm not gonna mention the name of the restaurant. What kind of a motivation is that!?! thats not the worst part, after that, we were told to clear the garden of weeds!! Dude! this is a high end restaurant(for kuching standards), get a blardy garderner!
my boss.. well.. he's bossy, of course. we would be able to work better without him pressuring us so much. he speaks to me about professionalism when i do wrong, but i see him, smoking and at the same time entertaining guess and serving food, i wonder exactly how professional he is. btw, he's a hotel management graduate. i'm in tourism, goin into hotel management, and i'm very sure they dont take that act as being professional.
he's flirty, and has a mistress. wanna try working under him? i dint know about the mistress too until he brought her to the restaurant. 1st wife, 2 kids. 1 in primary and another in secondary. 2nd wife, 2 kids as well. both in college. how the handles them both? i dono. and apparently, the financial status of the restaurant isnt that stable. the full time workers there tells me that they havent receive their salary for october. wanna know when they received their salary for september? end of october. i wonder why non of them went to complain to perkeso. is it perkeso? the one for workers 1. oh nvm..
i just hope my pay doesnt wait that long as well.. i need the money to go penang! i'm thinking about looking for a new job, but the pay's quite good. rm3 per hour. the ones i asked around only rm2.50 per hour. 50 cents more ok.. then got tips too. =P the restaurant already charged 10% service charge but they still leave tips for the waiters and waitresses. see! kuching

i dont want to write liaw. wanna continue sleeping. tonight got function at the restaurant. gonna be a long nite.. my night life has been taken away =( but i dont have a choice. blehhh.
