OK kids.. today i decided to write a lil bit about 1 of my subjects..
welcome everyone to wine fundamentals where everything is about wine.. :D
This ladies and gentlemen, is where we're suppose to spit the wine out.. But knowing me, out of 10 times, i might spit out 7 times.. DEPENDING on the wine..
So ya.. like.. thats me.. actually studying..
See! such a good student..
Left to right :2007 Mesh Riesling. 2007 Sauvignon Blanc. 2007 "M3" Chardonnay. 2006 Mitolo "Jester". and 2003 Cascabel "Tipico"
so, at each tasting, we have to mention about the appearance, whether the clarity is good, wad colour does it potrays..
then we move on to the smell. how instense is the aroma, does it smell complex, wad smell can you identify..
for the finishing we have to taste and describe the wine. the intensity, the body of the wine, the style of the wine, the astringency, vicosity, etc etc..
so far in 3 tasting sessions, we've tasted 12 wines.. the oldest so far was a 1998 Burton Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon. The wine wasn't that bad, but it lacked the body for a 10 year old wine..
and i shall conclude this now cause i dono wad else to say.. mayb i'll try take more pics of my kitchen session then show to you guys..
Oh dont mind them.. they just my classmates.. >.<
